Quarterfinals Frankford 33, Bok 32 Damien Adams rushed 23 times for 166 yards and a TD and scored again on a pass from Jerry Pollock. For Bok, Gregory Jones ran for two scores and recovered a fumble. After John Coppola's 67-yard pass to Michael Russell brought Bok within 33-32, Derek Stevenson recovered an onsides kick. But on fourth-and-16, a hook-and-lateral play from Coppola to Eddie Carter to Russell netted just nine yards. Roxborough 6, King 0 The only score came in the second quarter on a 60-yard, hook-and-lateral play from Christian Sedgwick to Roger Hillanbrand to Gerald "Scotty" Mack, who ran the final 51 yards. Jason Russ made four tackles for losses and recovered a fumble. Washington 36, U. City 0 Orlando Currie ran for two short scores and Jamar Griffin returned a punt 66 yards for a TD. Dobbins 14, Mastbaum 6 Derrik Millhouse passed just 3-for-17 for 68 yards, but ran 14 times for 78 yards and two TDs. His four-yarder broke a 6-6 tie with 1:45 left. Semifinals Doubleheader at Northeast Washington 40, Dobbins 24 Orlando Currie managed 92 yards and three TDs on 18 carries and Apollo Wright passed 5-for-7 for 96 yards and two scores. For Dobbins, Derrik Millhouse passed 7-for-17 for 181 yards and two TDs to Germal Williams (3-125). The teams combined for 28 first downs, 600 yards total offense and 240 more on returns (840 total). Frankford 17, Roxborough 0 O.J. Thomas (25-77) and Damien Adams (11-72, TD) led the rushing attack. Final At Northeast Washington 34, Frankford 0 Apollo Wright passed 5-for-8 for 91 yards and TDs to Jason Killich and Porfirio Barrera. Barrera also returned a fumble 31 yards for a TD. The fumble was forced by Orlando Currie, who added two sacks and rushed nine times for 63 yards and a score. With standout rusher Damien Adams out with a knee injury, Frankford was limited to 11 yards total offense.

Quarterfinals Judge 17, La Salle 7 Tony Volpe made eight tackles and recovered a fumble while Jacob Bonelli rushed 32 times for 128 yards and two TDs. Ryan 13, McDevitt 0 Mike Erbrick produced 85 yards and two TDs on 26 carries and Paul Nice made a fourth-quarter interception on Ryan's 19 when McDevitt was looking to tie the game. St. James 16, Carroll 14 Bill Dechant kicked a last-second, 33-yard field goal after Carroll took the lead with 1:51 left on a 66-yard pass from Vic Ameye to Chris Day. Scott Green passed 10-for-17 for 161 yards. Mike Mulholland made six catches for 121 yards. Bonner 14, West 3 Jim Corkery completed no passes, but ran 73 yards for the decisive TD. Harry Binck's 79-yard interception return set up Greg Kirwan's one-yard scoring run. Semifinals At Northeast Ryan 12, Judge 0 Anthony Desher and Dave McDonald had two interceptions apiece and Mike Erbrick rushed 34 times for 119 yards. St. James 19, Bonner 6 Brian Martin rushed 22 times for 88 yards and a TD. Scott Reid added 104 yards and a score on nine carries. For Bonner, Steve Wright kicked field goals of 31 and 44 yards. Final At La Salle University Ryan 13, St. James 0 Mike Erbrick gained 147 yards on 31 carries and Brian Hamill kicked field goals of 28 and 34 yards. Erbrick finished the season with 1,774 yards, the No. 2 total in CL history, and 14 TDs. The Raiders became the first CL team in 29 years to go through the playoffs unscored upon and they allowed just 29 points in 10 games against CL opposition -- the best effort since O'Hara's 23 in '79. In 20 games against CL opposition in '90 and '91, Ryan yielded just one rushing TD.
