Schedule of Top-Ranked Hockey, Boys and Girls

Basketball Teams Debuts January 6

This winter, CN8, The Comcast Network showcases the region’s rising high school

athletes and teams, airing regular season match-ups, tournaments and post-season

play. CN8 takes to the ice and the court with a 17-game schedule of hockey and

boys and girls basketball games that debuts Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 at 4:15

p.m. as Ursuline Academy takes on Winchester.

High school basketball fans can get a sneak peak at two top athletes on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. when Notre Dame Prep (Fitchburg, Mass.) and

talented 6’9” senior Michael Beasley takes on American Christian (Aston, Pa.)

and top-ranked junior Tyreke Evans at Temple University. Experts have said both

Beasley and Evans are potential NBA superstars.

CN8’s winter high school

coverage culminates with tournament coverage including a live broadcast of the

AAAA D-1 basketball championships as well as the New Jersey Tournament of

Champions. CN8 will also broadcast the Alhambra Tournament and Charm City

Challenge from Maryland.
